The Development Process
Lingea offers a comprehensive service including all stages of production from receiving the initial data from the publisher to the final delivery of the Golden Master CD or web service. Services provided are of course dependant on the wishes of the client.
A typical development process consists of following stages:
- 1. agreement on technical and functional specification
- 2. agreement on the design of the application (GUI = Graphical User Interface)
- 3. Alpha version of the product
- 4. Beta version of the product
- 5. RC (release candidate) version of the product
- 6. Golden Master CD delivered to client
Lingea works in consultation with the client at every step of the process to ensure customer satisfaction. Also depending on project, each stage
can have several steps ( Alpha version 1,2,...; Beta version 1,2,...; RC 1,2,...)
